The sun was going down, and the goats were eating grass near the forest. Gogi, the smallest goat, was happily munching, his ears twitching at every sound. Suddenly, a squirrel jumped down from a tree.
âHey, Gogi! Did you hear? Tara the Tiger is back in the forest!â the squirrel said, hopping around nervously.
The goats looked scared. Gogiâs mother nudged him. âStay close, Gogi. Tara is dangerous.â
In the village, kids were playing near their homes. Gogiâs friend, Muna, was helping his dad pick up firewood. Gogi ran to Muna, bleating loudly.
âMuna! The tiger is back!â Gogi said, worried.
Muna laughed. âDonât worry, Gogi. She wonât come here.â
But just then, a low growl filled the air. Tara the Tiger walked out of the forest, her eyes shining as she looked at the village. The kids screamed and ran behind their parents. Tara stared at the goats, licking her lips.
The goats panicked and ran toward the village. Gogi, though small, stood in front. âWe need to do something!â Gogi thought. He looked at the villagers and said, âDonât be scared. I will scare her away!â
The villagers were shocked. âA goat against a tiger? You canât do that!â Munaâs dad said. But Gogi was already walking toward Tara.
Gogi stood in front of Tara, his tiny legs shaking but his eyes determined. Tara stopped, surprised. âMove away, little goat,â she growled. âI am hungry.â
Gogi didnât move. âYou think youâre scary because youâre big? Iâm not afraid of you!â Gogi shouted.
Tara was shocked. No one had ever spoken to her like that. The tigerâs tail flicked. âYou are brave, little goat, but that wonât stop me.â
Gogi stomped his foot. âYou will have to go through me first!â he said firmly.
Tara paused. She was not used to this kind of challenge. The villagers were watching, holding their breath. Tara didnât know what to do.
âWhy are you standing up to me?â Tara asked, confused. âYou are just a goat.â
Gogi smiled, though he was still scared. âItâs not about being big. Itâs about being brave when it matters.â
Muna grabbed a stick and lit it on fire, waving it high. âGo away, Tara! You canât scare us!â he yelled. Other villagers joined in, making loud noises with pots and pans.
Tara stepped back. She didnât like the fire or the noise or the fearless little goat in her way. With a final growl, Tara turned around and ran back into the forest.
The villagers cheered loudly. Muna hugged Gogi. âYou did it, Gogi! You saved us!â
Gogi smiled proudly. âI just did what I had to do.â
From that day on, everyone called him Gogi the Brave. The villagers felt safe knowing that even the smallest among them had the biggest courage. As the sun set, the village returned to normal, with Gogi as their tiny hero who had stood up to a giant tiger.
The End.
