In a green jungle next to a shiny river, a cheeky monkey named Moti swung from tree to tree. He loved eating juicy fruits and playing games with his friends. One sunny morning, Moti found a big, shiny mango hanging from a branch.

“Look at this!” Moti shouted to his friends, the parrots and squirrels. “This mango will make a delicious breakfast!”

As Moti enjoyed his mango, a crocodile named Chintu was sunbathing on the riverbank. Chintu had a sneaky plan. He wanted to eat Moti’s heart, believing it would make him very clever.

Chintu waddled into the water and swam closer to the shore where Moti played. “Hello, Moti!” Chintu called with a grin. “I see you’re enjoying a lovely mango.”

Moti looked up and replied, “Hello, Chintu! Yes, it’s the juiciest mango I’ve ever tasted. What brings you here?”

Chintu replied, “I was just swimming around, thinking how nice it would be to have a chat with you.”

Moti smiled but noticed that Chintu’s eyes were fixed on him in a strange way. He was cautious. “Well, it’s always good to make new friends. But be careful, Chintu. The jungle is full of surprises.”

Chintu’s eyes sparkled with mischief. “Speaking of surprises, I know a secret way to get more mangoes. But I need your help to find it.”

Moti’s curiosity was piqued. “Really? That sounds interesting. How can we get there?”

Chintu grinned and said, “Follow me! I’ll show you the way.”

Moti hesitated for a moment, then decided to follow. He trusted Chintu and hoped for an adventure. They walked along the riverbank, chatting about the jungle’s wonders.

Suddenly, Chintu led Moti to a secluded spot with thick bushes. “We’re almost there!” Chintu said. “I just need to make sure everything is safe.”

As Moti stepped closer, he noticed a large, hidden cave. “What’s this?” he asked, peering inside.

Chintu’s smile grew wider. “Oh, that’s where the mangoes are hidden. But first, I need to prepare a special place for you.”

Moti’s sharp eyes caught Chintu’s movement. Something felt off. He remembered the old jungle tales about crocodiles being tricky.

“Wait a minute, Chintu,” Moti said, “why don’t we go check it out together? I’d feel safer that way.”

Chintu’s eyes widened in surprise. “Um, sure! Let’s go.”

As they approached the cave, Moti noticed a narrow opening on the side. He quickly thought of a plan. “Chintu, let’s explore this side first. It might be faster!”

Chintu agreed, and they squeezed through the narrow opening. Moti, being small and agile, quickly slipped away and climbed up a tree to watch from a safe distance.

From his vantage point, Moti saw Chintu trying to hide a large net in the cave. Moti realized that Chintu planned to trap him.

Moti knew he had to act quickly. He grabbed a bunch of leaves and made them look like a large, messy pile. Then, he dropped them near the cave entrance.

Chintu came out, saw the leaves, and thought it was a sign of danger. He panicked and decided to leave immediately, thinking someone else might be watching.

Moti watched as Chintu hurried away, relieved that his plan had worked. He climbed down and headed back to his favorite tree. He felt proud of his quick thinking.

Later that day, Moti’s friends gathered around him. “What happened?” they asked.

Moti shared his adventure. “Chintu tried to trick me, but I outsmarted him. The jungle is full of surprises, and you always need to be careful.”

The parrots and squirrels cheered for Moti, amazed at how he had used his wits to stay safe.

As the sun set, Moti enjoyed another mango, knowing he had outsmarted the sneaky crocodile. The jungle was safe, and Moti had learned an important lesson: always trust your instincts and stay alert.

And so, Moti continued his adventures, always ready for whatever the jungle might throw at him.
