Tito the elephant walked through the village, making loud noises. His big feet shook the ground, and all the animals ran away. Tito was always rough, and today he was even more grumpy.

Nearby, Sia the sparrow watched from a branch. She was tiny but quick. She saw Tito shove aside a group of playful monkeys who were trying to pick fruits from the trees. “Hey, Tito! That’s not nice!” Sia chirped, her tiny voice barely reaching his ears.

Tito snorted and looked up, his big eyes narrowing. “And what will you do about it, little bird?” he growled, swinging his trunk.

“Stop, Tito!” Sia cried, flying in front of him. “You’re causing a mess!”

Before Tito could respond, Sia had an idea. She darted off to the riverbank where she knew there was a hidden treasure. The river sparkled under the sun, and Sia quickly found the old chest buried in the sand. Inside were beautiful golden coins.

Sia flew back to Tito, holding a single coin in her tiny claws. “I have something to show you,” she said, landing in front of him.

Tito eyed the coin curiously. “What’s this?”

“This coin,” Sia explained, “was once a gift to the villagers for their kindness. It helped build their homes and schools.”

Tito listened, his grumpy expression softening. “I didn’t know that.”
