In a green valley with blooming flowers and swaying trees, lived Breezy the Wind and Sunny the Sun. They were friends but often argued about who was stronger.
One morning, Breezy was blowing hard and making leaves swirl around. “Look at me! I can move everything!” he bragged.
Sunny, shining warmly, said, “But can you make someone feel warm inside, Breezy? That’s real strength.”
Then, they saw Tom, a traveler, walking down the path wearing a thick coat. Breezy had an idea. “Let’s see who can make Tom take off his coat. That will show who is stronger!”
Sunny agreed, so Breezy began the contest. He blew harder and harder, trying to make Tom take off his coat.
Tom wrapped his coat tighter around himself. “Brrr! It’s so cold today!” he said, struggling against the wind.
After a while, Breezy got tired. “Why won’t you take off your coat?” he asked, frustrated.
Tom, holding his hat tight, shouted, “It’s too cold!”
Now it was Sunny’s turn. She didn’t blow hard. Instead, she shone warmly over the valley.
As Tom walked, he felt Sunny’s warmth. “Oh, it’s getting warmer,” he said. He unbuttoned his coat and finally took it off, carrying it over his shoulder.
Breezy was amazed. “How did you do that so easily?” he asked Sunny.
Sunny smiled and said, “Sometimes being gentle and warm works better than being strong and forceful.”
From then on, Breezy learned that true strength is not just about being powerful; it’s also about being gentle and warm. Breezy and Sunny continued to enjoy their time in the valley, understanding their own special strengths.
The lesson was clear: kindness and warmth can do more than force and noise.
