In a sunny forest, three little pigs named Pippa, Parker, and Preston decided to build their homes.
Pippa chose to build her house with straw. It was quick and easy, so she had time to play and enjoy the day. “Look at my house! Isn’t it great?” she said happily.
Parker used sticks for his house. It was a bit stronger than straw and also quick to build. He finished and joined Pippa to relax. “Now we can enjoy the nice weather!” he said.
Preston, the last pig, built his house with bricks. It took him a long time and hard work, but he was careful to make it strong. “It’s worth the effort,” he said as he worked.
One day, a sly wolf named Winston came to the forest. He saw Pippa’s straw house and said, “Little pig, let me in!”
“No, not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!” Pippa answered.
Winston huffed and puffed and blew the straw house down. Pippa ran to Parker’s stick house.
Winston followed and demanded, “Little pigs, let me in!”
“No, not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!” the pigs said.
Winston huffed and puffed and blew the stick house down. Pippa and Parker ran to Preston’s brick house.
Winston came to the brick house and said, “Little pigs, let me in!”
“No, not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!” the pigs replied.
Winston huffed and puffed, but the brick house didn’t move. Tired and defeated, Winston gave up and went away.
Inside the brick house, the pigs were safe and happy. Preston smiled and said, “See, building something strong was worth it.”
Pippa and Parker agreed. “We’ve learned our lesson. Hard work and a strong house really do pay off!”
From then on, the pigs lived happily in their strong brick house, always grateful for Preston’s hard work and the lesson they learned.
